Description

A fresh and fruity rose Cava from Codorniu, made in the traditional method using Garnacha, Pinot Noir and Trepat grapes selected from vineyards in the Penedes area.

With an attractive pink colour and a fine, elegant bubble, Codorniu Clasico Rose offers inviting aromas of red fruits, jam and cassis, complemented by delicate notes of pastries and yeast from its ageing on the lees. On the palate it is fresh, pleasant and beautifully balanced.

Made using the traditional Cava process, the wine undergoes its second fermentation in the bottle before spending a minimum of 9 months ageing in the cellar in contact with the yeast lees.

A versatile sparkling wine that is delicious as an aperitif and pairs particularly well with nuts, white fish, fresh salads and tapas.
