Description

A classic and approachable Rioja Crianza from Ederra, made with 90% Tempranillo and 10% Garnacha from vineyards across Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Oriental.

Ederra Crianza is made with a focus on fresh fruit and freshness, while retaining the character of traditional Rioja. The wine is aged for 12 months in American oak barrels, where its fruit-forward character develops beautifully alongside subtle toasted and spicy notes, while the tannins become soft and polished.

Garnet cherry red in colour, it offers inviting aromas of raspberries, violet flowers and liquorice, followed by notes of spice, roasted coffee, vanilla and coconut. On the palate it is balanced and smooth, with gentle tannins, plenty of fruit and a pleasantly persistent finish.

Perfect with charcuterie, creamy and medium-aged cheeses, mushrooms, pulses and grilled meats. Best served at around 12-14°C.
