Description

A classic Rioja Reserva from Bodegas Bilbainas, made from 100% Tempranillo grapes grown in selected vineyards across Rioja Alta and Rioja Oriental.

Ederra Reserva is made in the traditional Rioja style, combining generous fruit with the complexity that comes from extended ageing. Following fermentation and maceration, the wine spends 18 months in American oak barrels, developing elegant toasted and spicy notes while softening the tannins. It is then aged in bottle for at least another two years before release.

Deep ruby red in colour, it offers aromas of red fruits and liquorice, complemented by mineral hints and subtle spicy and toasted notes from the oak. On the palate it is fresh and elegant, with soft tannins, a beautifully rounded character and a long finish.
