Description

Bodegas Fos is a winery located in the heart of The Rioja Alavesa region.

Bodegas Fos Reserva Rioja is a multi-award winner (1st place in the Concours Mondial Bruxelles 2011 and awarded 1st place in 2010 out of all La Rioja wines from Spain) and one of the best examples of a Reserva Rioja that we can find.

Produced with 75% Tempranillo and 25% Graciano grape varieties, it has a bouquet of eucalyptus and mint notes with a touch of caramel and cocoa.

Bodegas FOS Reserva is an ‘Author wine’ – it is elegant, full-bodied and has strong personality.  It is aged in French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels for 22 months and another 14 months in bottles. Made from 60 to 65 year old vines. Exceptionally low in sulphites. This wine will lay down for 15 years.
