Spanish Pardina Lentils are a a bit smaller than other lentils. They have thin greenish-brown in colour, are yellow inside and have a nutty taste. They hold their shape when cooked. This makes them ideal for salads and other side dishes, and are also a key ingredient in many Spanish recipes.
Can be soaked before cooking although not essential, When cooked in a pressure cooker with hard water takes 40 mins and soft water 25 mins. When boiling with hard water 1hr 40 mins and soft water 1 hour.
