These delicious little sardines from Portomar in Galicia are packed in olive oil for a simple, traditional taste of the Spanish coast.

Each tin contains between 10 and 14 small sardines, carefully packed with just olive oil and salt. Rich and full of flavour, they are lovely served straight from the tin with good crusty bread, on toast with sliced tomato, or as part of a tapas selection. They are also great in salads, tortillas or homemade pates.

Sometimes the simplest Spanish tapas are the best – open the tin, add some bread and enjoy!
