A characterful Spanish lager with a beautiful amber colour and a rich, toasted malt profile.
1906 Reserva Especial brings together Estrella Galicia’s brewing heritage with toasted malts, aromatic hops and extended maturation, creating a beer with plenty of flavour and a distinctive smooth finish.
On the nose, you’ll find aromas of toasted malt with gentle notes of caramel and coffee, together with light floral and herbal hints from the hops. On the palate, the toasted malt character comes through beautifully, with a pleasant warmth that is smooth and well balanced.
A great beer to enjoy with smoked cheeses, warm salads, oily fish, roasted meats and BBQ dishes.

I love this stuff! I could drink it for days. We visited El Gaitero in Villaviciosa, Asturias on holiday and found that they market it as sidra-champagne, so the cava description is apt, though it is sweeter. This may be my Christmas morning drink instead of Bucks Fizz now.
